MIA met Paper Planes terechte winnaar. Is ook terug te vinden op de soundtrack van Slumdog Millionaire.

Gotye met Learnalilgivinanlovin had ik wel niet meer verwacht in de singles lijst van 2008 aangezien dit nummer is uitgebracht in augustus 2006!

Het is wel zo dat beide singles pas voldoende airplay hebben gekregen in 2008. Toch hier in België en daar ging het toch om. Misschien staat er momenteel een nummer in de hitlijst van Papoea Nieuw Guinea dat pas over 3 jaar onze streken bereikt
